The Gaithersburg Book Festival

We’re excited about the Gaithersburg Book Festival next Saturday, May 16^th! Since 2010, the Gaithersburg Book Festival has fostered an interest in reading, writing and literary conversation in the Gaithersburg community with programs and visits by authors, poets and songwriters.

Featured programs this year include free writing workshops for adults and children , a children’s village, exhibitors and more.

Parking and admission to the festival is free. The Gaithersburg Book Festival will take place at Gaithersburg City Hall in Old Towne Gaithersburg from 10 AM to 6 PM.

To celebrate at Gaithersburg Library, we have a convenient book display with works by some of the authors who will be featured at the Gaithersburg Book Festival including Ellen Oh, Winifred Conkling, Kwame Alexander, David Axelrod and more. Stop by the library to pick up a book or two in preparation!
