Love your Mother(s) at the Library

Earth Day is over, but spring is still in full flower with plenty of ways to celebrate the season. Here at the library, our green roof is in bloom, so we're in a garden state of mind!

If you'd like some guidance as you plant your garden, come in for a free consultation with one of our Master Gardeners at their weekly plant clinic in the lobby, every Saturday, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. We also have plenty of gardening books for you to sample, as well as children's materials to learn about Mother Nature.

Speaking of mothers, on May 13 you can show Mom that you love her by bringing her to a special Mother's Day poetry program at the library. Our DiVerse Poetry Reading and Open Mic takes place on the second Sunday of the month from 2:00 - 4:00 PM on the second floor of the library.
